FAQ’s
I get asked these a lot, and I got tired of saying them again and again. Here we go!
- Are you Asian?
Nope. I’m a mutt- part Portuguese, Spanish, Norwegian, German, with a little touch of Pocahontas.
- How did you fall into the Hak5 crowd?
I loved Pure Pwnage, and went to a live show at Bloor Cinema way back in November of 2006. Little did I know, the guys of Hak5 were doing a documentary on PP as well. We all ended up at the afterparty, and at the end of the night had this big group picture taken. I was going to skip it, but Darren introduced himself and made room for me in the cramped space. I was really grateful, later found out he was the host of Hak5, and found him on Myspace many months later. Darren invited me to Virginia about half a year later, and after I graduated I moved into the HakHouse in 2008.
- Where’d you come up with Snubs?
Waaay back in high school, I was chatting with my friend Danny. I said, “I want a cute username.” Danny came up with SnubsieBoo. I liked it, it stuck, and over the years it shortened to Snubs.
- Are you a vegetarian?
What? No. Though, if someone told me to be a vegetarian, then I could pull it off. As long as I could have sushi.
- Where are you from?
Born in Georgia, but lived as an army brat. Mainly grew up in mid- Missouri.
- Where is Hak5 located?
We’re located in the heart of Williamsburg, in our dining room (which has been turned into a set).
- Are you single?
Sure! Well, not really. But I don’t want to be one of those disgustingly lovey couples while on camera. Ew.
